She scoured Facebook Marketplace across Florida, hunting down carburetors to refurbish and sell, all in pursuit of funding for her first car. Alongside her dad, Dane, she meticulously restored the jeep, sparking her love for automotive restoration.
As word spread about Riley's knack for carburetor rebuilding, her business gained momentum. Everything changed when a single Facebook Marketplace post went viral. Overnight, Riley found herself inundated with over 300 carburetors delivered to her doorstep, propelling her business to new heights.
With demand soaring, Riley enlisted the help of her four closest friends. Together, they embarked on what would become Riley's Rebuilds, transforming it into a thriving enterprise known for its dedication to quality and craftsmanship.
Now 19 and juggling college life in Connecticut, Riley continues to lead Riley's Rebuilds while pursuing her passion for varsity soccer and pursuing degrees in physics, mathematics, and mechanical engineering. To keep the family legacy strong, Riley has brought her brother and a new generation of apprentices into the garage, ensuring that Riley's Rebuilds continues to thrive while she expands her academic horizons and athletic pursuits.
Riley's journey has evolved beyond carburetor restoration. Today, at 19, she not only manages Riley's Rebuilds but also co-hosts her own show with her dad, titled "Repair 2 Rev" on Hemmings YouTube. This platform showcases their shared passion for automotive restoration and has garnered a dedicated following among enthusiasts.
Expanding her horizons further, Riley has ventured into the racing world. She earned her pro comp licensing, marking a significant milestone in her racing career. Now, she's delving into drag racing, pushing the limits of speed and performance in the competitive arena.
Despite her busy schedule managing the business, attending college in Connecticut, and playing varsity soccer, Riley remains committed to expanding her skills and knowledge.
